Last updated 10 October 2026. These terms cover the MeetNow mobile app. By creating an account you agree to them and to the MeetNow app privacy policy.
Who can use MeetNow
You must be 18 or older. Friends you bring to a plan must also be 18 or older and fit who the host opened the plan to; you confirm this when you ask.
Meeting people
- Plans happen at the venue in the plan, a public place. Never ask a guest to come to a home.
- “Host pays” means guests owe nothing beyond showing up. Expecting anything in return is not allowed and can be reported.
- A host can open a plan to women only, men only or an age range; guests who don’t fit can’t ask.
- City events listed in the app are run by their organisers, not by MeetNow. Tickets are bought from the organiser.
Cancelling
Plans changed: cancelling is free until 3 hours before the start, then it counts as a late cancel, shown on your record for 90 days. Something feels off: leaving privately is never on your record, and the host sees only that you left the plan.
Reports
Anyone can report a plan or a person. A person on our team reads each report, usually the same day, and the plan is hidden meanwhile. The person reported is never told who reported them.
Photo checks
The verified badge means a person on our team matched a selfie to your profile photos. It is not an ID check.
