Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data trymeetnow.com collects when you visit, why, and what you can do about it. Last updated: October 2026.

Who is responsible

This website is operated by the team behind MeetNow (the data controller). You can reach us at contact@trymeetnow.com.

What we collect

  • Analytics (only with your consent). We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how people find the site. It runs in Google Consent Mode: until you accept analytics cookies, Google receives only cookieless signals without identifiers. If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_* and processes your IP address (shortened), device, browser and pages visited.
  • Your cookie choice. When you accept or reject cookies we store your choice in a cookie called authenova_consent (kept for 180 days) and a random visitor ID in authenova_vid, so we can respect and record your decision.
  • Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider keeps technical logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser) for security and to keep the site running.
  • Fonts. The site loads the Onest font from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google servers and shares your IP address with Google.
  • Emails you send us. If you write to us, we keep your message and email address to answer you.

We do not run ads, we do not sell personal data and there are no user accounts or comment forms on this site.

Why we process it (legal basis)

  • Analytics cookies: your consent (you can withdraw it at any time).
  • Consent record, server logs and security: our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website.
  • Answering your emails: our legitimate interest in replying to you.

How long we keep it

Google Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. Your cookie choice is kept for 180 days. Emails are kept for as long as needed to answer you and then deleted.

Who receives it

Google (Google Analytics and Google Fonts) and our hosting provider, who process data on our behalf. Google may transfer data outside the European Union under the safeguards it provides, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time. Email contact@trymeetnow.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in Malta that is the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC).

Changing your cookie choice

You can change your mind at any time by deleting the cookies for this site in your browser; the cookie banner will then ask again.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
